At Independent Financial Services, we are dedicated not only to our clients, but to giving back to our community as well. In April 2013, Jeannie and Jodi started the North Tampa/Pasco chapter of Charity Chics, a group of professional women dedicated to networking, philanthropy and marketing. Over $20,000 has been donated to local charities since the chapter’s start.

In addition to starting their own chapter of Charity Chics, Jeannie and Jodi have both served on the boards of local charities. Jodi is a former board member of PACE Center for Girls Hillsborough and is now the Advisory Council for the Personal Financial Degree Program at USF as well as the Industry Advisor to the FPA of Tampa Bay Student Chapter at USF.  Jodi also serves as the 2022 President of the Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay. Jeannie is the past treasurer for Dress for Success Tampa Bay. Jeannie is also a member of the Collaborative Divorce Institute of Tampa Bay and the Network of Executive Women. Our office in Land O’ Lakes is the Dress for Success drop-off location for Pasco County and surrounding areas.

Our employees are also encouraged to volunteer at least 8 hours per quarter to a local charity.
